A busy week!

A rare picture of me with one of my children! Usually it's Chad. Notice the top of the chair is broken off, courtesy of Rynan! We had a busy week this week. Tyler had school, I started going to MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) with some of my close girlfriends. We basically drop our kids off so we can gab, drink coffee, and do a craft or listen to a speaker. It is at a church in town. It's just nice to have some uninterrupted conversation. Tyler also had a playdate after school on Tuesday with his "little" and I mean little, buddy Drew (Shrew as he says) from school. They are not in the same class this year, but apparently the meet at the playground and don't let the girls on the climber (it's our ship). Tyler actually went p--p at school TWICE this week! I guess he's feeling comfortable with the new teachers! I hope this is almost a done deal! We're running out of room for anymore toys (bribery!). We've reluctantly started giving him coins to fill a piggy bank to earn a toy for many trips to the potty. For those of you that don't know, Tyler actually swallowed a nickel earlier this year! Oops!
Big day yesterday! The fire truck came by to check the hydrant in front of our house. Tyler and Ryan were so excited. We ran out to the truck, but niether of them would get in or on the truck. After a little coaxing from the fireman, they did take a new firehat! Here is a oicture with our neighbors Michael and Lauren. I have decided that Tyler is a little smitten with Lauren, an older woman, he adores her! Must run in the family with liking older girls!
In his glory! Ryan has pretty much mastered the steps, of course, we just bought a new baby gate for the stairwell!
I do take pictures of Tyler, I guess it's Ryan's week! He actually sits and let's me!
It's lumberjack weekend on our street! There were chainsaws a buzzin all morning! Ryan and Tyler were running from window to window watching these guys climb trees and cut them down. There are a bunch of houses with dead trees, big ones! If you look closely, there is a guy in this tree at the top. I did take some video, but having problems uploading it. TX style of tree cutting is different than anything I've ever seen! Notice we are in Ryan's room watching, his room is on the second floor of our house. This guy is about 40-50 feet up in the air, tied by a rope while his "spotter" was taking a bathroom break next to our neighbor's garbage can, yes we witnessed this! Safety first! I'm working on getting more video, I've taken a lot, but like I said, having a little trouble posting. Have a great weekend ya'll!

We love the weekends!

Here are Chad and Tyler going for a bike ride in Sunday. Tyler actually can ride a couple miles at a time which we think is quite impressive for a 3 year old! I guess it is in his genes! Chad was proud, they topped out at 8 mph! He loves his new bike and he makes all of us wear our helmets. Oh joy!
Here are the 2 clowns at breakfast on Sunday. Ryan has graduated himself to the counter. He no longer wants to eat at his little booster for the kitchen table. We are really watching him up this high though based on his performance Sunday afternoon. He climbed up onto a dining room chair, without any adult supervision, and proceeded to tip it over with him on top of it. He caught his fingers under the chair and in between the floor, cut his middle finger wide open and really bruised his pointer too. Blood, lots of blood! We decided not to take a trip to the ER, however, we did visit the doc on Monday, just in case. No need for x-rays she said, but "He looks terrible! Can I look at his ears! It's infected!" If it's not one thing it's another!
Tyler is ready for Halloween. We got out the decorations today, here's a little taste of what's to come!

Here's Ryan playing "ch-chs" as he says. He started saying "tickle-tickle" last night too. He may talk soon! Ball, ba-ba (blanket), noo-noo(no no) , and bye-bye all all part of his repertoire.

Here's our Little Rebel! Ryan is constantly climbing, babbling, and getting into everything! Daddy came home last night and the boys now want nothing to do with me~a break:) We went to our storage unit this am and dug out the Halloween decor! Tyler found the Xmas box and pretty much wants to forgo this whole Halloween/Thanksgiving season. He's already watched The Wiggles Christmas this week and has declared that Santa WILL be at his Star Wars birthday party (that's in March!).
Ah-that's what friends are for! Lynnette and Tarah got me for my 32nd! This is what my neighbor's woke up to on Thursday morning! What a lovely sight.
Tyler thought it was great that all the balloons were attached to disposable silverware(anchors). He played with them all day long. (Notice the undies in the bushes, I believe there were around 20 some pairs in the front) The Mormon boys next door probably loved it!
Here's a glimpse of my actual birthday party. Those kids loved Tarah and Alexia's cupcakes! Ryan just walked around holding the frosting side of a cupcake for a good 10 minutes, then proceeded to wipe it all over me and my cabinets! Happy Birthday Mom!

Here is the best I could do for a recent picture of Tyler and Ryan with their best friends in the whole world. Ella, Jack, and Christopher were here to have pizza dinner, as the husbands were away! It's just plain nuts when they're all together, but they have a lot of fun!

Random thoughts, no new pictures!

I thought it would be fun to look thru some old pics and I found this one. Pre kids and about 20 lbs. lighter! I think I even look a lot younger, considering that i just turned 32! Yikes. Chad and I are heading out for a night on the town adn going to the Dave Matthews Band concert here in The Woodlands. I'm pretty excited to clelbrate my b-day adult style, if you will, tonight. I had 11 plus two in the oven kids here for CUPCAKES yesterday afternoon!
This is Hannah, at Ryan's current age. Are they related or what? I think that Ryan is definately more Brautigam, Tyler more Sorenson.

After dinner with "the boys"

The boys are really starting to spend a lot of time outside in the backyard. They love to playl store in their house and climb all over Ryan's new climber he got for his b-day. They are pretty excited to see everyone. Tyler is convinced Christmas is coming soon, I mean very soon! He also wants me to have a Power Ranger birthday tomorrow! Little does he know, 32 isn't Power Ranger worthy! I'm going to give this blogging thing a try, you know, join the 21st century~ anyways. Bear with me! Thanks for all the cards and thoughts! Love to you all!
