Time...Slips Away!

Sorry it's been so long! Iam starting to get some grief because I haven't posted in so long! I know this is the highlight of some of your weeks~kidding! Here we go. We have been extremely busy and were out of town this last weekend. We went to Dallas to a HUGE indoor waterpark, Great Wolf Lodge. It was AWESOME! The boys loved it and Chad and I really enjoyed taking them on a mini vacation. Ryan and Tyler are two party animals, up till 10 both nights and ready to go swim as soon as their eyes opened in the am. We went with 2 other families and had a blast. Here is Ryan in the wave pool. Training for the beach!

Drew and Tyler had a ton of fun together. navigating the waterslides and spraying the jet skis

Here are Jack and Ryan. They had some fun too, watching the Badgers with the dads and going down the slides too.
Deb had a little birthday party for Avery, the lone girl in the bunch. The boys were excited to eat pizza and have cupcakes in the hall of the resort.
Ready or not, here comes trouble!
Ryan's new favorite~ dipping any food in any sauce! Carrots and yogurt, sure why not? Strawberries and ketchup~DELICIOUS!
Tyler during the Packer's game. He was pretty sad they lost.
New haircuts for the boys! Ryan didn't even cry this time!

This is Tyler's best friend from school, Drew. Last week, Drew and Tyler had a lunch date at McD's, then they came over to play for a while. During this time, Ryan went to sleep and Drew's mom and I sat up in the game room and chatted while the two had their little play date. We're talking when all of a sudden, Tyler walks out with 6 squares of TP (used) and announces that he has just wiped Drew's buns! OH MY GOD! Sue and I were laughing so hard we couldn't even talk. We went in and helped clean them up and explained that next time they needed that kind of help to ask the moms! Too funny! Does anyone else have that good of a friend that would wipe for you?
This is what a typical playdate looks like when the Mullins come over. Vice versa, we just tornado each others' homes!
Ryan is big into candy, this is his mecca! The mall has candy row right outside of the play area. While Tyler is in running, Ryan is out here dreaming!
Yes, we bought one! How could we not?
A day at the park!

Is it Spring?

Here are Tim and Al putting up shelves in Tyler's closet for is bazillion toys. Chad and I have been on the rampage to get this place organized this weekend. We started at our storage spot and cleaned house, went to goodwill, then onto our actual house. It's been quite invigorating! We can't stop! We only have one more closet to attack and that's Ryan's. I guess it will have to wait for another day! Chad is out hitting golf balls and I am heading to the mall. Chad and I have a "formal" thing for his work next week, and I have not a thing to wear! Yeah right! Anyways, Lynnette is taking my kids (saint!) for the night and day on Saturday. Hopefully all goes well and everyone makes it out in one piece, mostly I'm worried about Lynnette! I will owe her BIG!
We've been big into the arts and crafts~well for this house anyways. My boys are not too interested in this stuff, they'd rather throw things. Anyways, Tyler finally learned how to cut with scissors the proper way and he can't be stopped. We did have the no cutting ANYONE'S hair talk today.
Ryan generally spends more time eating the drawing items. Apparently they are quite tasty! Thank god they're non-toxic! He would be dead for sure!
GO PACK! We were a little homesick last night after watching the Packer's win. The snow and excitment was enjoyed over a Pizza Hut dinner! Tyler and Princess Ella had many little play dates this week! They are so cute!

This was taken at 10pm. Ryan went to bed at 5:30 the other day, he had had an early nap. SO I guess he took another one when he woke @ 9:45 he was ready to go dancing! He's too fun to get irritated with the fact that he's not sleeping.

Here are some pictures from my parent's house at Christmas. I just got them.
Making sugar cookies.

Ryan's one trip down the hill. He did not enjoy it at all!

Happy New Year!

Hey there everyone! It's been a while, but we are back and finally into the swing of things! A crazy weekend, we are getting old! Today, I went with a few girlfriends out to lunch, then to a movie, "Atonement." Very good! While I did this, Chad took the boys to the Houston Boat Show! They loved it! There are some pics, Tyler wants a boat now, along with Dad! Right now, Chad just back from Wal-Mart at 9 PM on a Saturday night. We are now cozied up on the couch watching the debate, discussing politics! Not even a beer in hand! Anyways, Here are the pics from Christmas week in WI and MN. We had a blast and enjoyed the snow, however, we don't really miss living in the snow! Enjoy!

Tyler with the cousins at Christmas Eve service! Mine was not the quietest in the crowd!
Christmas Eve we went to Aunt Kelley and Uncle Russ' house. Tyler rocked out with a Dora wig and Ryan befriended their 2 large dogs! A big step considering he is terrified of Lynnette's shitsu!
Getting ready to sprinkle Reindeer food for the critters! Santa did find us!
THE CASTLE & AIRCRAFT CARRIER! Santa did it right!
Ryan got a tickle cookie monster. He loved opening ALL gifts, even Grandpa's coffee maker!

Hannah in her new High School Musical sleeping bag!

Tyler told Grandma she took his spot and so he perched on her lap. Maybe, being generous here, 20 seconds later this is what we saw! DUNZO!

Sledding! Ryan didn't get to go, double ear infection will do that to you! He's fine now, flying was pleasant~!

Tyler loved the snow, he's definately ready for a trio to the montains. However, no snow is allowed to touch his eyes-ever! He borrowed Uncle Matt's ski goggles and enjoyed some real sledding on a big hill!

When we returned to TX, Santa had left this gem in our garage! Tyler was so excited he bawled, drove out of control, then bawled some more! It was not quite the reaction Santa had invisioned. The next day was a better experience with the ESCALADE!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2008? Where has the time gone? I still remember when we all got kicked out of Brother's on New Year's 2000 when Nate popped a champagne cork at the bouncer! How times have changed! Chad and I took Tyler for a night swim in the hot tub after little brother went to bed. Tyler then proceeded to bed at about 7:30 and Chad and I were just about to get ready to grill steaks, when RYAN woke for a couple hours. Apparently he had bigger plans for New Years than we did. He played a mean game of Hungry Hippo and finally went to bed around 9:45! Finally we can eat! Great steaks, a sip of some great champage and I welcomed 2008 in bed~ASLEEP! It was awesome!

Time for a haircut?

Tyler and Ryan today at the boat show!
What they want for X-mas next year!
Tyler is ready to go! Hold on!!!
