Spring Fever!

Well Valentine's has come and gone and now we are on to Easter and St. Patty's day. My kids are loving these spring holidays. Ryan is definately my kid, he LOVES the candy! I have a bit of an addiction to sugar! Here are some pics of Valentine's morning. The boys both got a stuffed dog and some candy. As usual, Tyler hoarded the animals and Ryan ate the candy! No big surprise!

Here are the "Sweethearts" and their goods.
Again, the lovebirds at Tyler's school party. Ryan gets to go to school next year! Yeah!
My valentine gave me some beautiful roses and chocolates.
Happy Valentine's from Spiderman!

Chad got a package from work and you guessed it, there was packing popcorn~! What a blast they had!

This is from today. My 3 scurvy dogs! It's absolutely beautiful here, 75 and sunny. We are heading over to our friend's later for a BBQ!

Yes, you're seeing correctly! I bought Ryan a potty chair. He follows Tyler around and flushes for him whenever he goes and tells me all the time when he "goes." I figured why the heck not? He hopefully will train earlier than his brother. We'll see!

Tyler and Ryan miss everyone! Come visit please!

We had a very busy week! Tyler had 2 birthday parties at the same place, one Thursday night and the other a mere 12 hours later! Lynnette and I were partied out to put it bluntly! The kids had a blast though!

Ryan and Tyler enjoying some birthday treats.
Ryan was rather mischievous on Friday morning. First, he tried to murder Chad with a steak knife. He apparently can reach into the silverware drawer and select his weapon of choice these days! Chad was at the table diligently cutting a grapefruit for the two of them, and all of a sudden he yelped! "Ryan just stabbed me!" Sure enough there was a little mark where he had tried to poke his Dad. Chad said the best part is Ryan just stood there, knife in hand smiling at him! Needless to say, the knives have a new, higher home! After knives, Ryan found my stash of mommy products and decided to disassemble them all over the living room, while of course, dancing to the Wiggles! The joys of toddler-hood! By the way, you may wonder where I was in all of this. Attempting to get dressed and my teeth brushed, a difficult task these days!
Saturday the family headed out to see Sesame Street Live. It was awesome, both the kids were in muppet heaven! We had great third row seats. My brother's close friend works for the production company and got us free "gold circle" tickets. They were amazing if I do say so!

My personal favorite!

Sunday it was beautiful out! We went for a bike ride to a park, had a picnic lunch and played some soccer with real soccer nets!

Dad got a little carried away with kicking the ball around! Watch out for snakes!

Valentine's package from G&G Sorenson. The boys were very excited to get some cowboy hats and candy! Granny &Grandpa Brautigam sent some $$$$ . That was very exciting too! Tyler is already planning his trip to the toy store! Happy Heart Day everyone!

Talking to Grandpa B.
A beautiful rainbow after a late afternoon TX storm.
The boys after a long day. Ryan went to the DR. today, yes indeed, an ear infection! Drugs are good! By the way, we just found out that Chad earned the big trip again this year for GE. We get to go to St. Maarten in May. Very proud of his hard work!

Wiggley Sports!

So the boys are crazy into being outside and playing all sorts of sports, along with watching them on TV. Last night we went to a Super Bowl party, Tyler had to wear his Badger football jersey. We also had to DVR the presentation of the trophy to the Giants, Tyler watched it first thing when he woke up this morning. It's gorgeous out, 75 and breezy, perfect Spring day in Texas. This is when we enjoy living here, as opposed to the tundra! We went to a couple parks in search of Ella, but no luck. We did find our friends Carter and Avery at the park though and played some soccer. Carter loaned us his "polksa-dotted" ball to use at home for the day. What a nice boy! Tyler kept saying "I'm so excited Mom!" over and over. It is the little things! Needless to say, Chad and TYler have a date to the Walmart later to purchase his very own! Ryan on the other hand thinks he has just invented TV! He discoved The Wiggles, and is obsessed! He runs into the house whenever we get home and goes straight to the TV and starts dancing like a little monkey! Very cute. Luckily, Tyler still likes them tool.
Here are the boys this past weekend getting ready for the grocery store!
Ryan or is it Wally the Beerman? Today, yes he loves waterbottles!
Tyler and the polksa-dot ball! He is signed up for soccer at the Y. He can't wait!
Ryan played while Tyler and I kicked the ball around.
Super bowl party, dinner time!
Tyler helped Chad make a chocolate chip cake to take to the party. He was so proud!
