November....so far!

We've been crazy busy! Soccer is finally done for the big boys...Ryan scored 3 goals this season and Tyler 3 as well. They were both so proud of themselves...especially when they got their trophies. All the running around was worth it when you see their faces the mment the receive their trophies! We've been swimming at the gym, hitting every b-day party in town, playing outside a lot, flying kites, and scanning the catalogues for Christmas ideas! The boys are getting really excited to head north for the holidays...they talk about it all the time! Tyler has begun to read...and Ryan enjoys listening and repeating "brother." Ethan is growing at an enormous rate...
he currently enjoys eating door jam stoppers (with his 6 teeth!), army crawling, and going to the bus stop to get big brother. He is 8 months, as of yesterday. I can't believe how big he is! Enjoy the pics and hopefully I will be able to post sooner than later.

Is someone watching me?

First day of school for Ryan today...he's an official Turtle! Big three year old class...he's so proud, I am a little sad cause he's getting so big! Don't mind me in this picture...I have had quite the week with little blow ups everywhere...namely E's diapers, Tyler's crying about school, which Ry is picking up on, and crazy birds attacking me in my garage...seriously? Candid camera? Let's not forget the sinus infection I have or the fact that I haven't made it to any, but the first, of my running classes...ANyways...it's time to get into the school schedule full fledge and I am looking forward to it! Poor Ethan is too...pretty sure he is tired of falling asleep in his bouncy chair while life goes on around him...it's exhausting just watching this family of ours:)!

Big Dude!

Happy Birthday Alexia! High tea @ The St. Regis in HOuston...so fun to be served for 2 hours!

That's right...GO FARVE & VIKES! Very exciting night at our house last night!

Ty's First Day of School!

We woke early today to get going...I woke up especially early to shower, so I looked put together in these pictures...I don't want to look back in 20 years and think about what a scrub I looked like;) and am most days I may add...anyways, here it is... the first day of Kindergarten for Tyler! He was pretty nervous, but in a happy way...we met his teacher, Mrs. Pisciotta, on Friday. It was quick though, Ty had a bad ear infection and wasn't feeling the best...today was much better! Ryan was so proud of his big brother and kept asking when he was coming home...he starts school next week so it shouldn't be as bad...Ty rode the bus home, and will catch it in the morning...that was the best part of his day he told me. Oh the simple joys of a school bus! Tyler went to bed early tonight and fell asleep in 5 minutes of his head hitting the pillow! Enjoy the pics...a couple of Ry and Ethan too. Ethan is in a high chair now for dinner and thinks he's awesome! Ryan is in denial about Farve...kidding! We need a purple jersey now~! Go VIKES! Miss you all!

Vegas Girls Trip

Don't feel too bad for me...I did get a great weekend away to Vegas with some of my best girlfriends from Texas...we had so much fun! It was great to be living with girls for the weekend. We had some great laughs and I can't wait to plan our next trip...that's right, I said it! We stayed at The Venentian...beautiful and so fun to gamble, shop, eat, sleep, drink, pool it, and go out!

TEXAS GIRLS (from the North;))

Too long gone...

Holy smokes...is the summer really almost over? I feel like we're just getting started...who am I kidding...no I don't...I am ready for school to start. Don't get me wrong, I love my kids, but we need a schedule again! We have had an awesome summer. We traveled to MN and WI for lots of family time and special events. We went to baseball games, baseball fields, zoos, parades, amusement parks, BED, parks, camps, you name it, we pretty much covered it! The boys had so much fun with the cousins and grandmas and Buca's (that's grandpas for you non Brautigam folks). The Brautigam side then traveled to MN for Ryan's 3rd birthday and Ethan's baptism. It was great to see the boys with ALL their family! They miss everybody so much already and talk about seeing them all really soon! Since we have been back in Texas it has pretty much been 100 degrees every day...this limits our activities to the pool or inside...the boys are finishing up swim lessons and Tyler is becoming a great diver and front crawler. He is all signed up for soccer in the fall, and of course Kindergarten starts in 10 days! YEAH! He is so excited he can hardly stand it...we already picked out his back pack, it's plain navy because you know, "Big kids don't have characters on their bags Mom!" He's getting so big! Ryan is officially 3...as one of my friends put it, "It's about time that kid turned 3! He's been acting it for a long time now." He is convinced he is going to Kindergarten too and will be in for a shock when the bus leaves without him on it! He's swimming and hitting the baseball just like 'Brother" is, he's also signed up for soccer and still is my little love...Monkey see, monkey do...and lastly little Ethan is growing so fast! He is 5 months old already and has poked thru his 2 bottom teeth already...we've started some solids although he prefers the bottle now which is fine...one less thing I need to do this minute:) He is a talker and roller! He will be sitting up soon I am sure. He's got to watch those big brothers like a hawk! Enjoy the pictures from summer, I have a billion, but chose to keep it limited for time sake...because I really don't have too much extra of that these days! Miss and love you all!
