HAPPY WEEK!

This week has been crazy busy...well with the arrival of Ethan we have been soaking up a lot of family time. My parents are here and we are thankful. We were able to enjoy a few days prebaby to get some important things done, like Tyler's 5th birthday. We had a great day on Sunday...played outside all day, then had pizza with one of Ty's best buddies from across the street. Tyler had his kid party on the 7th at Pump It Up with 30 of his closest friends! There reallyl were 30 plus there with siblings...all in all it was a fantastic party and Tyler really enjoyed himself. That night we had chili cookoff at school and both the boys performed. I was nervous that I wouldn't make it through the day without going into labor. Thank god I didn't because Ryan got Hand foot, and mouth that weekend...miserable week to follow! No sleep, crying kid, funny how nature prepares you for the inevitable! Coming in Like a Lion!

So life is about to get pretty crazy! Went to the doctor today...not much going on...if Ethan does not come on his own terms...March 16th is looking like the day. It will be nice, Tyler's b-day will have passed, my parents will be here to help with the boys, and life will hopefully run smoothly! Hopefully! Anyways, we've been keeping busy...well I have anyways, Chad threw his back out last week and was bed ridden all week! This left preggy Patty to pick up the slack. He finally got his cortisone shots on Friday and started to perk up during the weekend...at least he started walking. I felt so bad for him...and me! I have never seen him in so much misery! Anyways...I guess things start to go when you turn 32~ Chad's b-day was yesterday and we celebrated by making a cake...the boys were so excited to present the Spongebob cake to Dad! Notice in the picture how one row is left unfrosted...Tyler's request! He doesn't like frosting, not sure where he came from! Anyways, it's been beautiful weather and we hae been enjoying getting outside and playing with friends...although we have to go to parks that have potties...for Ryan and me! Take care! Here comes March whether we are ready or not!

"Mama...I have to go potty!"

So the boys have been extremely busy this last week...Ryan the busiest, who decided that he was going to potty train himself in a mere 3 days! What a treat for me! He totally did it with no incentive or motivation from his parents, but apparently he is ready to really be a big brother! We are so proud of him! Tyler had his first big boy sleep over, first basketball camp, and a great report at parent teacher conferences...very courteous, good friend, but needs to work on his letters. I already knew this...however, Tyler refuses to work with me on any academics, so I guess I will settle for the Mr. Congeniality over valedictorian! Kidding! Oh yes, the boys...all 3 of them have been "working out" if you will with the Iron Gym (thanks Matt!) Their muscles are getting huge...er something like that~! We are STILL preparing the house, yard, you name it for , drum roll, baby Ethan Merrick to arrive! We decided on this name because we really like Ethan and Merrick is my grandpa's middle name...so there you have it!

This is where Ryan spends 60% of his day, then we all have to come look! Oh the joys of going in the potty~! We took him to Johnny Rockets(a 50's diner) to celebrate and then the toy store! So exciting...he was in heaven!
