Whirlwind Tour!
What a great weekend! We went to WI on Friday for a ceremony honoring Chad's late Grandpa Vince. He was inducted into the Lawerance University Sports Hall of Fame for football and shot-put. They had a nice dinner on Friday and a little program at the football game on Saturday. It was a great weekend. It was neat to see Chad's grandma with the whole family around! She was beside herself with happiness. Everyone came home and we saw lots of cousins and aunts and uncles, and of course Granny & Buca Mike! Tyler and Ryan had a blast with Hannah and Hayden. They slept over, as did I on Friday night to be awoken on Saturday morning @ 5:45 am by two little boys. Hayden and Tyler were ready to go for day #2! Me, not so much! Thank god Russ, my brother in law, went to Starbucks! Chad and I braved the Fox River Mall on a Saturday afternoon and took the kids to meet a bunch of our friends for a family playdate! It was a little crazy to say the least! Tyler went to his first football game on Saturday night with Uncle Russ, Hayden, and Chad. He LOVED it! His favorite part was when the guy got hurt! Go figure. Here are some pictures of the weekend. Stay tuned for Halloween! Tyler can hardly wait.
Not your usual picture of these guys! Notice the random on the far right~ he almost got beat up in front of the guys ! Dad's know no etiquette for the mall play area!

Free Haircuts!
Big day today! Ryan went and got his second official haircut. Only this time we didn't just trim, we got a "big boy" cut. He looks so old. chad made me take them both to Snip-It's to get haircuts. Tyler sat like a charmer, like always, no big deal. Ryan-uh, not so much! I had to hold him down he was so upset and shaking the whole 5 minutes it took. In the end, Ryan thought it was worth it, a dum-dum made him feel so much better. When we got home, Chad couldn't believe I had the girl cut it all off. Goodbye curls! It was kind of sad. Went to the Y and played at the park this afternoon. Ryan and I were out for a bit without Tyler. He loves that! Here are some pics from today (yes, it's haircut week for the Brautigams!) As I'm sitting here eating a piece of Halloween candy Chad is at the Y running 7 miles on the treadmill! BORING! I chuckle~ he's got to run 14 tomorrow! Ouch! Glad I'm not training for the marathon!
Ryan and I playing today with oatmeal in the water table. They love to "cook" and make pies!

More Sea World Pics
A Whale of a Weekend!
Some pictures from the park last night before the cold front came in today. It's only 58 degrees here right now. It was 85 yesterday. Time to get out the winter clothes in TX! People will seriously be dressed like it's snowing out! Just got back from the Dr. Tyler and Ryan had flu shots and Ryan also had his 15 month check up. He's 32 inches and 26 lbs. He also had to get 2 other shots, he's in bed sleeping it off! Poor kid!
This last weekend Lynnette and I took Tyler and Ella to San ANtonio and visited Sea World. They had a blast! We left at 7:30 am on Saturday and got there around lunch time. They were real troopers in the car watching Barney and singing to the Wiggles! It's definately different road trippin' with 2 three year olds! "Are we there yet?" was asked only once we got down the block, 97 times on the trip, and 2 times in the parking lot of Sea World. Seriously it was asked a lot! Tyler even asked in the elevator at the resort we stayed at on our way to the room! I guess we're never there yet! Here are some pics of the weekend. Chad stayed home with Ryan and they bonded man style. Car washes and oil changes-how sweet!

Where's the time gone?
Sorry this is a little backwards. These are some pics from last week. The ending ones are from 2 weekends ago. We've been really busy with the grandparents here. We went to the TX Renissance Festival Sunday. It was pretty warm, but the kids loved it. Spent the rest of the week doing some shopping, more eating, and going to the airport. the boys would live there if I let them. Back to the daily "grind" today. Tyler had school, had a playdate for Ryan with Katrina, went to the Y and then the park with Ella. Lynnette & I are taking the "big kids" to Sea World this weekend in San Antonio. Should be a lot of fun~ hopefully not too hot!
Ryan enjoying the great TX weather. It's finally beautiful out!
The boy's with Buca Chuck~
Ryan drinking out of the hose. Hopefully this doesn't explain his bout with Hand, Foot, and Mouth virus this past week! He's been a real drooly treat! Sense the sarcasm;)
Dinner time entertainment for the guests of honor~ Grandma & Buca.
Tyler's go at photography! Not too bad for a 3 year old!
Getting the yard ready to finish in back. We (Chad & my dad) created a new little play area for the boys. I'll get a pic up later. Tyler loves to "work!"
Here's Ryan on Sunday on our way to the HOuston Air Show. We stopped at Panera to get Muffin Tops & bagels for the ride on the "big road," as Tyler would say. The boys loved the air show, especially after the F-16's were done demonstrating, A little loud to say the least. It was a great day and we all loved it. We will definately head there next year!
Life was much better after we rented some ear phones!
Here are the boys on a refueling jet.
Here they are with a prize. They each got their very own jet plane!
Sorry it's been while since I posted last, but we've got Grandma and Buca here, so not much free time!
