It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas!
This has been a very busy week. Chad is in Chicago since Saturday until Thursday. The boys are really missing him this time. They both get it that he is gone. Tyler is a little sensitive to anything that I say. Ryan is getting a cold, so good times! The following are pictures from the last week. We got the house all put together for Christmas before Chad left. Friday we went and got the tree and decorated it that night. Tyler was so excited. He kept singing Jingle Bells and saying "it's Christmas Eve, my favorite." Here is a picture of Ryan, he woke at 11 that night to check out what the Brautigam elves had been up to. He was so excited! Of course some of my pictures are mixed up-sorry~no time to correct it.
Today at the park. Yes it is actually cold out here in TX. It's only 50 and windy. This is the first day no rain in 3 days.
Ryan all bundled!

THANKSGIVING!
Ahhh-the men frying turkeys! They were delicious!
The women of the kitchen! We really had an obnoxious amount of food! It was all so good! Chad and I ate leftovers for days. The perks of hosting!
Master carver!
The babies! There were 6 big kids at the big table too!

Turkey Day is Coming!
Tyler had his feast at school today. It was great fun! Ryan thought he owned the place. Poor Chad barely made it through, he threw his back out. He can barely walk. Marathon training is taking it's toll. We're getting ready for Thanksgiving. I'm hosting. 23 people, half adults, half kids. It should be crazy! To all - HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Ryan thinks he's in school like the big boys.

Sweet Baby Tyler!
Tyler at 16 months~same age as Ryan
Here is a picture of my sweet baby boy that I really do love so much in spite of his 3 year old self! Tyler had a rough day today! Apparently he had 2 "tee-tee" accidents at school today. That's Texas for "pee." Anyways, his teacher calls to ask for new clothes for him. He is wearing some beautiful stonewashed/acidwashed jean shorts from the lost and found without underwear when I pick him up. I never was able to get to the school because Ryan was napping. Tyler was not upset about this at all. He's happy, I'm happy-right? WRONG! So we head to the park with some school friends for a great outside play. The kids are all getting along, playing great when my friend's son yells "Baby poop!" You guessed it! Tyler took a huge poop standing at the top of the slide, and remember, he has on NO UNDIES! This gigantic poop falls to the ground into the mulch right in the path of the slide. I'm mortified and Tyler is clueless until he meets my eyes! Needless to say, acid washed shorts are in the garbage at this park, I guess it's God's way to rid the world of any leftover acid washed jeans! And yes, I had to pick it up! So if anyone is planning to slide @ Terramont Park, be rest assured that this Supermom cleaned up after her little angel!

"Marathon" FUN!
This week has been crazy busy. The pictures again are a little out of order. The first couple are from this weekend, then from today thru last week. Halloween, trick-or-treating, Uncle Matt and Aunt Angela visiting. We have been going non-stop. Tyler is finally taking a nap today, I had him stay home from school today. He is out of gas! We had so much fun with Matt and Ang here. Tyler pouted the whole way home in the car. He did not want them to leave. In the midst of all of this craziness, Chad continues to train for the Houston Marathon. He is really getting up there in the mileage. He's half done with the training! Yea! It will be exciting to watch him in the race. Not too much planned for this weekend. We just have a couple b-day parties on Saturday morning. Should be fun!

This was on Sunday when Matt and Angela first got here. We went down to the Four Seasons and picked them up for lunch.

On Saturday, we headed out to Market St. to find Dad. He was volunteering at a Health Fair and we went to go visit. Like our balloon swords?
Friday we went to Pump it Up with Drew V. Tyler had an "accident" and of course, I brought no change of clothes. Luckily, Kelley had a pair of Drew's undies in her bag, so in white trash style my son ran around the gym, jumping in bounce houses, in boxer briefs!
Trick or Treat!
